Moomin is back on the Hamburg label. 

Sebastian Genz’s 2011 debut The Story About You showcased a producer with a talent for balancing bliss and melancholy to transcendent effect, as the very best deep house so often does. After a selection of releases for labels including his own, Closer, the Berlin producer returns to Smallville next year with his second full-length.

A Minor Thought is out in early February 2016 and, judging from the album sampler, sees him expand the scope of his warm, analog house, with spindly piano motifs and loose jazzy chords buoying the serene mood. Check it out below. [via RA]
