Artists and labels now have an alternative to SoundCloud’s exclusive embeds. 

Bandcamp continues to offer a real alternative to SoundCloud with the launch of of its own exclusive embed function.

For years SoundCloud has been the only real option for artists and label owners wanting to give an exclusive embeddable music stream to websites, but Bandcamp’s latest addition gives them another option.

Bandcamp’s exclusive embeds are available to all users on pre-order albums, but only Bandcamp Pro subscribers will be able to dispense full album codes for which streaming has otherwise been disabled on some of the tracks.

Users will be able to tweak the player options to limit the tracks that play as well as change size and layout. Full details and instructions can be found at the Bandcamp website.
