Sources close to the rapper confirm the two are in the studio today.

Last night, rapper Rich The Kid tweeted a picture of him on Facetime with Frank Ocean hinting at a collaboration. The tweet was quickly taken down, but that hasn’t made it go away. Since then, he has continued to RT stories about the collaboration and responded “Hope y’all ready” to Complex‘s speculation that they were working together. Now, FADER report that a source close to Rich has confirmed with them that the two are in the studio today.

Ocean’s album, possibly titled Boys Don’t Cry was expected by many fans to appear last summer, but has yet to surface. It is so highly anticipated that we didn’t even include it in our new feature of 2016 albums we’re looking forward to — it didn’t seem fair to the rest of the music world.
