Paris’ Bataclan venue will reopen before the year is out, say club owners.

In a statement issued yesterday, and reported by Billboard, the venue owners said: “Today, we’d like to share with you some important news: We have decided to renovate the Bataclan. We will do everything in our power to host new shows before the end of 2016.”

The 19th century venue was the site a deadly spate of terrorist attacks on November 13, in which 89 people died.
