Prins Thomas’ fourth solo album is voyage into deep space.

First off, could there be a better title for an Ibiza-via-Oslo ambient album by the king of cosmic disco than Principe Del Norte? Unlikely. Kicking off with eight minutes of soaring euphoria on ‘A1’, the album’s nine tracks clock in at nearly 100 minutes and explore the kind of dosed-up, spaced-out territory explored by minimal and synth pioneers like Terry Riley, Steve Hillage and Manuel Göttsching in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

Settle in via the NPR stream below and look out for the 4xLP album on February 19 through Smalltown Supersound.
