The Rocket Vinyl Jukebox debuts this weekend.

A UK company called Sound Leisure has manufactured the first new vinyl jukebox in 20 years.

The company is already known for its CD-playing models, but the company’s new model makes it the only company in the world currently producing a vinyl jukebox.

Speaking to Intergame, company director Chris Black said that finding people with the skills to construct a vinyl jukebox proved tricky, with most of the team that assembled it in their 70s and 80s.

The Rocket Vinyl Jukebox will debut at the Classic Car show at the ExCeL Centre in London, which takes place this weekend from 18-21 February. [via The Vinyl Factory]
