The 2016 Brit Awards take place in London tonight and are available to stream live. The ceremony will include performances by Adele, the Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Little Mix, James Bay, Jess Glynn, and Rihanna (provided her voice has recovered since cancelling at the Grammys). The ceremony will also include a tribute to David Bowie, but an event as arresting as Kanye West’s flamethrower-filled ‘All Day’ debut last year seems unlikely.
Nominees for British artists include Jamie xx, Aphex Twin, Adele, Amy Winehouse and more. International artists include Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Tame Impala, Björk and more. The nominees for Best British Album are Adele’s 25, Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams, Florence + the Machine’s How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, James Bay’s Chaos and the Calm and Jamie xx’s In Colour.
