Run the Jewels have announced the launch of a new virtual reality platform with the release of a 360° video for ‘Crown’.

To watch the video you’ll need a VR viewer and The New York Times’ NYT VR app for iOS and Android, but the video will be available on YouTube and Facebook next month.

As Pitchfork reports, the duo’s forthcoming VRTJ platform is set to host live performances and other video content from the duo, which will make use of virtual reality tech.

If you don’t have the technology to take advantage of the video, Run The Jewels will be releasing their own customised VR viewer on Record Store Day.
