This year, FACT TV’s Bryan McKay, Claire Lobenfeld and John Twells packed up and headed to Austin, Texas for South By Southwest 2016 and talked to some of the festival’s most exciting artists.

Baltimore’s ready for its “Chicago year” and Tate Kobang is leading the charge. Last year’s ‘Bank Rolls (Remix)’ found Kobang tangling with a vintage Tim Trees sample and repping his city with style. It was one of FACT’s top tracks of 2015, so we couldn’t help but track Kobang down at SXSW and find out exactly what the rapper has in store for the rest of the year.

It turns out that he’s not only working with Nelly (“he heard a record, he reached out”) but he wants to have his own label and help his city dominate in 2016 and beyond.
