The reunion starts earlier than expected.

LCD Soundsystem will play their first shows since their retirement in 2011 this Sunday, March 27 and then on Monday, March 28 at New York’s Webster Hall. The show advertises the band as Back From the Dead, a tongue-in-cheek nod to their first reunion show being played on Easter Sunday. It was originally planned that the group would first perform at Coachella on April 15. However, the show is being presented by Panorama, the New York festival that will debut this year put on by the same production company – so it looks like they’re cashing in on the reunion as quickly as possible. Tickets are available by lottery.
