Puff Daddy has announced he will open a charter school in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City. Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School was founded in partnership with Capital Preparatory Schools and, after five years of development, it will open for its first term this fall.
“I want to impact the lives of young people in my community, and build future leaders. The first step is offering access to a quality education,” the rap star said in a press release.
The school, located at 1 East 104th Street, is accepting applications for 6th and 7th grade before expanding up to 12th grade. Apply and learn more through their website. Puff Daddy’s latest release was MMM, a new mixtape released on his birthday last year. [via Pitchfork]
