This year, FACT TV’s Bryan McKay, Claire Lobenfeld and John Twells packed up and headed to Austin, Texas for South By Southwest 2016 and talked to some of the festival’s most exciting artists.

Born in Iran and raised in the Netherlands, Sevdaliza has a distinctly global outlook on her art, whether that’s through her music – which melts together disparate influences effortlessly – or her eye-catching videos. FACT caught up with her at SXSW to find out what we can expect for the rest of the year, and growing up in a “family of poets”.
