Hear the churning first single ‘Crosstalk’ now.

Melbourne-based artist Kane Ikin will release his new album Modern Pressure this spring. It’s an apt title, as the album captures a period where Ikin was forced to sell off equipment to make ends meet. The tense situation led to a collection of tracks that writhe with anxiety and move with a dire immediacy.

It’s a grim record, but certainly not without moments of beauty. ‘Crosstalk’, however is one of them. It’s pure fear, a pressure cooker of eerie atmospheres that gradually builds with a dreadful, unstoppable momentum.
