The Aberdeen producer gets busy with the filters on this gem from his new EP.
T_A_M brings a dose of crunching house to London label Local Action this week with the excellent ‘September’s Silk’, a late-night burner that seems to draw as much from Midwest heroes like Theo Parrish as the classic French house of labels like Roule.
The track comes from his eclectic Silk/Sweat EP, which also includes a technicolor filter house banger in the shape of the previously unveiled ‘16.30 Sweat’ as well as some loosely club-shaped curveballs, like the emotional flute melodies of ‘Esthar’.
Stream ‘September’s Silk’ below, and look out for T_A_M’s set on Radar Radio tomorrow (April 7) – he’s a seriously good DJ.
The EP is out digitally this Friday, April 8, from Local Action. You won’t have failed to clock the incredible artwork, created by taxidermist mabel.london.
