“Since I left you…”

Beloved Australian plunderphonic pop group The Avalanches have officially returned 16 years after their classic debut album Since I Left You. They will perform live at both Primavera Sound Festival and London Field Day.

The group, now a duo consisting of Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi, hinted at a return yesterday after updating their social media accounts and website with new artwork. After years of false alarms and dashed hopes of a second album (supposedly featuring Danny Brown and Ariel Pink), it’s starting to feel like an actual reality.
