Update, April 17: Prince seems to have made a rapid recovery.

Twitter users said they spotted him riding his bike around town in Chanhassen, Minnesota, just a day after he was rushed to hospital.

Prince also took to Twitter to announce a dance party at his Paisley Park Estate on Saturday night to thank fans for their “love and support”. [via CoS]

Details are still unclear.

Prince was rushed to the hospital this morning after his private jet made an emergency landing in Illinois.

TMZ reports that Prince has been fighting flu for several weeks, and that his worsening symptoms forced the emergency landing in Moline, Illinoise.
