“Sisters don’t steal, sisters share.”
Despite initially proclaiming it “exactly what pop culture needed“, Azealia Banks has slammed Beyoncé’s Lemonade as “anti-feminist”.
Banks accused Bey of perpetuating the “heartbroken black female narrative” in a series of tweets.
The ‘212’ rapper criticised Beyoncé’s “stupidity” for staying “crying over a man” and accused her of co-opting artists’ ideas without giving due credit, calling her a “poacher” and a “thief.”
Banks later tweeted that “feminism has nothing to do with black women” and took to Periscope to discuss her position.
