Just days after her awesome performance on The Tonight Show, Grimes has dropped the video for her Art Angels’ track ‘California’.
One of the album’s standout cuts, the video sees the Canadian artist take on a variety of personas and features a motley crew of characters – from glitter-clad cowboys to Elizabethans in corpse paint – for a shiny, sensational visual work-out.
‘California’ has been re-packed with spacey, arpeggiated synths for a remix that’s truly out-of-this world.
The original version of the song appeared on Grimes’ fourth album Art Angels, which was one of our favourites of 2015.
