The film stars Erykah Badu and Bad Boy rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
A new trailer for the Nas-produced movie The Land has dropped. The film follows four teenage boys in Cleveland as they attempt to forge careers in professional skateboarding but get mixed up in drugs along the way. It stars Erykah Badu, Machine Gun Kelly and newcomer Jorge Lendeborg Jr.
The Land will debut in US theatres and on VOD on July 29, the same day as the film’s Mass Appeal-released soundtrack is released. The soundtrack features new music from Kanye West, Pusha T, Jeremih, French Montana and, of course, Badu and Nas, among others.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Complex, Nas has denied rumours that Rick Ross executive-produced his follow-up to 2013’s Life Is Good, but added: “I got a lot on the table but don’t be surprised somewhere down the road if that happens. He also discussed his fashion and accessories collaboration for the forthcoming Ghosbusters movie, which includes a pair of “glow-in-the-dark Slimer trainers”, among other Ghostbusters inspired items.
