Metalheadz and Critical producer Halogenix is known for his speedy tempos – but how fast is he when it comes to putting a track together? We caught up with him in his north London studio to find out if he was up to our 10-minute beat-making challenge.

His is a pretty lean and mean set-up, but as we soon found out he knows his way around it, building haunting synth layers around scurrying breaks. Check out the video above.
