Follow a short and sweet teaser, full details of Abra’s next release have been unveiled.

Awful Records siren Abra will release her PRINCESS EP this summer via Matador imprint True Panther Sounds. It is a major shift for a member of the Atlanta collective to put something out with the help of an established label, but with artists like Glasser and Teengirl Fantasy on the True Panther’s roster, Abra is in the right company.

‘COME 4 ME’, released last month, gave us a quick preview of what’s to come, but ‘CRYBABY’ really delivers on her promise that her next long project would be a “spell to get you laid.” It is typically dazzling work, but where Rose built on the momentum of BLQ VELVET, it’s very clear here that PRINCESS will push Abra’s production chops even further.

PRINCESS is out July 15 via True Panther Sounds and Awful Records. Limited edition vinyl is out August 20 and available for pre-order.
