A new track from the long-anticipated second album from The Avalanches has appeared online.
Earlier this month, The Avalanches returned with ‘Frankie Sinatra’, a track featuring Danny Brown and MF Doom from Wildflower, their first album in 16 years. There was little information about who else would be guesting on the record, but a track featuring Toro y Moi has now appeared on something recently uploaded to Mixcloud.
Starting at 5:17, ‘If I Was a Folkstar’ samples Queens of The Stone Age’s ‘You Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire’. Check it out below.
Wildflower is out July 8 and features Biz Markie, Father John Misty, Ariel Pink and more.
