The producer builds an album out of tracks used for compilation releases.

Four Tet was celebrating the one-year anniversary of his recent LP Morning/Evening when he surprised fans with an album he describes as “sort of new”.

The appropriately titled Randoms brings together tracks that were previously only available as part of compilation projects such as ‘Gillie Amma I Love You’ which appeared on the 2013 charity release BOATS. The release spans nearly 20 years worth of loosies and is available for free through the Bandcamp platform’s “name your price” feature.
