The event debuts in Amsterdam during ADE 2016 this October.
This year’s Amsterdam Dance Event will feature a new festival aimed at showcasing some of the world’s best live electronic acts, with Jessy Lanza and Blanck Mass among those scheduled to play.
Taking place during the main ADE event in October, ADE Live will feature showcases on October 20 and 21 at venues including Melkweg, Paradiso and Sugarfactory. Acts including RÜFÜS, Salute, River Tiber, Sofie Winterson and SUUNS are also booked for the shows.
ADE Live adds to what is already the world’s biggest dance music event, which this year will see thousands of artists appear from October 19-23. Marcel Dettmann, Rødhåd and Craig David are booked to appear across the festival’s five days along with AnD, Blawan, Digitalism, Ida Engberg, Marcel Fengler, Miss Kittin and Nicole Moudaber.
In addition to the the music, ADE will host its regular conference featuring over 400 speakers as well as films, exhibitions and showcases from the world’s leading gear manufacturers.
Tickets for the conference and individual events are available from the ADE website. This year ADE will be opened with a collaboration between Henrik Schwarz and the Metropole Orkest.
