Frank Ocean, who definitely doesn’t have anything else on his To Do list right now, has appeared in a new ad for Calvin Klein underwear.

In an extended video, Ocean talks about love and music while lounging around in a tilted room, hanging out with a Marilyn Monroe lookalike and giving us a peek at his branded drawers.

Talking about his need to make music, he says: “If you keep it up for four or five weeks, and then you stop, you feel like you’re missing something in your day. That’s what music is for me – it feels like a necessary act.”

He adds: “It takes a mind to worry, a conscience to feel ashamed, but there’s no place to hide out here. You romanticise what’s in the past – which is fantasy, but it’s not how I want it done. Fantasy plays the role of a supplement. You draw on fantasy to make things hyper-real.”

Young Thug has also been plucked to star in Calvin Klein’s latest campaign. The rapper talks about how there’s “no such thing as gender” in his ad spot.

Last week Ocean updated his website to suggest that his long-awaited Channel Orange follow-up will be released in July. The album, expected to be titled Boys Don’t Cry, was originally slated for release in July 2015.

Reports over the past year have suggested that Ed Banger producer SebastiAn, Lil B and Rich the Kid have all been working with Ocean. Two unreleased songs surfaced in February this year following a listening party in New York, one featuring a choir, but have since disappeared.

Frank, we beg you. Step away from the underwear aisle and deliver this baby into the world.
