Snoop Dogg and The Game protest police brutality in Los Angeles
The Game and Snoop Dogg are the next in a long list of artists responding to recent highly publicized incidents of police brutality.
Los Angeles rapper The Game initiated a men-only march in Los Angeles today with the ultimate goal of ending up at LAPD headquarters. He put out the call via Instagram to join together under the name Operation H.U.N.T. (“Hate Us Not Today” or “Hunt Us Not Today”) in an effort to protest police brutality after the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.
“Calling: ALL AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN, MEXICAN AMERICAN MEN & any other RACE of REAL MEN with heart to stand with us today & walk peacefully to the LAPD headquarters,” he wrote. “Let’s erase the fear of one another on both sides & start something new here in the city of Los Angeles, a city we all love & share!”

Snoop Dogg joined The Game and was eager to speak with the recent graduating recruits of the LAPD: “Get some dialogue, get some understanding with the new recruits before they hit the streets so they get some understanding that we, just like them, are trying to live and go home and get some understanding.”
