The rapper has been in custody without bail.
Troy Ave has been released from prison on a $500,000 bail after being held in custody in Rikers Island, the New York Daily News reports.
Troy’s mother paid the bail which allows him to remain in New York City and wear an ankle bracelet to ensure he doesn’t leave. He is not allowed near any concerts, bars, arenas or music venues of any kind and will have to maintain an 11pm curfew.
Ave’s next court date is not scheduled. He has currently been indicted for and plead not guilty to an attempted murder charge and two weapons charges in the ongoing investigation of the May 25 shooting at T.I.’s concert at Irving Plaza that left one dead.
