Nintendo’s recent nostalgia-mining isn’t limited to just Pokémon.
The Verge reports Nintendo will be re-releasing their classic games system, only much smaller, under the name NES: Classic Edition. While the original design remains intact, it has modern features like HDMI connection and Wii Remote capabilities. (It will also come with a controller that looks like the one you grew up with it – it just also will be smaller.)
Another feature of NES Classic is a lack of cartridges. The console will come with 30 games preloaded into the system, including Metroid, Castlevania, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. – which all made our list of best game soundtracks – as well as other classics like Kirby’s Adventure, Pac-Man and much more.
