Brad Neely’s Harg Nallin’ Sclopio Peepio gets off to an amazing start.

When Brad Neely ended his cultishly adored Adult Swim series China, IL, it was to shift to the more freeform Brad Neely’s Harg Nallin’ Sclopio Peepio. Judging from last night’s episode, he’s pulled some major stars into his disorienting blend of sketches and songs.

André 3000 appeared in a segment discussing human history stretching from cave people to cyborgs in the future (“fucking and killing, nothing has changed” he concludes at one point). The rapper nails the part too, delivering Neely’s surreal, silly dialogue with a weightiness that only makes it more compelling.
