Fantom adapts the music playing on your iPhone to the environment around you.
Massive Attack have updated their Fantom iPhone app with new music.
Co-developed by Robert Del Naja, the “sensory remixer” was rolled out at the start of the year and lets you create your own versions of the Bristol’s duo’s sounds. The app takes into account variables like movement, time of day or night, location and what your phone’s camera can see.
To preview snippets of new tracks ‘Come Near Me’ and ‘The Spoils’, you can download Fantom from the App Store, but it’s only compatible with iPhone 5s or above.
The band previously used Fantom to preview tracks from their Ritual Spirit EP shortly before releasing the EP officially.
