The enigmatic house producer brings his melancholy grooves to the Mörk label.
Anonymous producer Grant is to release an album for Lobster Theremin sub-label Mörk next month.
Cranks is the second album from the producer, whose debut album The Acrobat recalled Galcher Lustwerk and Larry Heard, and was one of 2015’s best house albums.
Grant has stepped away from his own label The Lauren Bacall for the album, which is described as a blend of ‘90s UK house music and West Coast deep house with a more playful sound than its predecessor.
Cranks is released on 3LP and digital formats on September 2 – until then you can stream clips below and revisit Grant’s killer FACT mix from earlier this year.
