Astral Black, one of our favourite club-slash-label operations, has announced its third compilation marking, in their own words, “three years of successfully joining the dots between Glasgow & London’s new-wave hip hop and instrumental grime scenes”.
Frass FM 3 features 15 brand new tracks from label regulars Jaisu, Bushido, Dressin Red and DJ Milktray, Bambooman and K15, along with material from the extended AB family. London producer Drae Da Skimask teams up with Kareful, while Glasgow’s new generation is represented by Rapture 4D, Dvsty, Creep Woland, Fresh Paul and TryTryDieDown.
The compilation is out today as a weightless name-your-price download or a very appealing pink cassette, which comes with a hand screen-printed sleeve by Oscar Whale of Broadstreet Basement Press.
Grab both from Bandcamp and stream the compilation in full below. The label has also released a bunch of new merch, so get suited up.
