Many who showed strong support before the hearing get their voice out tonight.
After weeks of having their license suspended for police investigation following a voluntary closure, iconic London club Fabric will now be forced to shut its door permanently.
Many DJs and musicians offered their support via social media and by encouraging people to sign a change.org petition in favor of keeping Fabric open. Following the decision by Islington Council not to renew its license, Mumdance, The Black Madonna and more have expressed their anger and sadness. We’ll be adding to the tributes as they roll in this morning so keep checking back.
I’m sick to my stomach. As an American in Kentucky the Fabric mixes were my window to the world. This is inconceivable.

Respect. Love. And Solidarity with all who made Fabric the legend that it will always be.

I cannot believe Fabric had its license revoked.I can’t help but feel the powers that be made their decision long before it went to summons.
