Duncan Jones says reports from the Kardashian network were false.
Earlier today, a report from E! alleged that David Bowie’s godson was given some of Bowie’s ashes by Iman to scatter at Burning Man. Duncan Jones, Bowie’s son, has confirmed via Twitter this is not true.
That Burning Man thing? What people will do & say for attention never ceases to amaze me. Not true. Kind of a gross claim as well. *sigh*

E!’s anonymous source said: “David’s godchild and David had long talks about Burning Man and what it stands for, and David loved the message behind it.” However, as FACT’s Burning Man Editor points out, one of the most important principles at Burning Man is Leave No Trace and that even ashing a cigarette on-site is frowned upon.
Jones also points out that if Bowie had wanted to be memorialized so publicly, it would be somewhere a little bit more light-hearted.
…We all know if dad DID want his ashes scattered in front of strangers, it would be at the Skegness Butlins. ;) pic.twitter.com/0Oh1g9tGke
