The Keys will reveal DJ Khaled’s philosophy for success.
DJ Khaled is set to release his first ever book, The Keys, featuring “stories from his own life as he breaks down all of the major keys” – a reference to his recently released number one album Major Key.
“The Keys will share DJ Khaled’s major keys to success, from ‘be honest but don’t play yourself’ to ‘don’t drive your jet ski in the dark,’ which he’ll illustrate with stories from his own experiences,” writes bookseller Barnes & Noble.
“He’ll also break down the philosophy behind his trending catchphrases, including ‘another one,’ ‘secure the bag,’ ‘special cloth alert,’ ‘bless up’ and more. ‘Mogul Talk’ sidebars will feature insight from his famous friends.”
Among these famous friends are Jay Z, Rick Ross, Puff Daddy, L.A. Reid, Arianna Huffington and Lyor Cohen, who has just this week been hired by YouTube to act as its global head of music.
The book can “help you follow your vision as long as you have passion, dedication, blood, sweat and tears,” declared Khaled on Instagram last night (September 28), while posting a picture of the Narnia-esque book jacket, which features a grand-yet-wistful looking lion with a giant key in his mouth.
It’s out November 22 but available to pre-order now.
