This is the first pair of videos taken from Solange’s sublime new album.
Following the release of her long-awaited album A Seat At The Table on Friday (September 30), Solange has shared two new videos – ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’ and ‘Cranes in the Sky’.
Both videos were co-directed by Solange and her music video director husband Alan Ferguson, with ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’ also featuring Sampha (who co-produced the song).
The 21-track album contains guest spots from Lil Wayne, Kelela, Kelly Rowland, Q-Tip, Tweet, The-Dream and Dev Hynes, as well as interludes from No Limit Records boss Master P and is accompanied by a 112-page digital book.
Earlier this month, Solange penned a powerful essay about “white spaces” after being harassed at a Kraftwerk show in New Orleans.
