He’s with her.
After hosting Bill Clinton at this year’s Made in America festival, BuzzFeed reports that Jay Z will head to Ohio to hold a pro-Hillary concert to mobilize young black voters. He did the same thing in 2012 with Bruce Springsteen in support of Barack Obama.
While Jay is not always categorized as a political artist, he and Beyoncé have supported the Black Lives Matter movement by bailing out protesters in Baltimore and through other donations. He’s also released music about police violence, narrated a film about the war on drugs and is set to produce a television show that examines the American criminal justice system through the lens of the late, wrongfully imprisoned Kalief Browder.
