Back in October, Q-Tip announced A Tribe Called Quest would be the musical guest on the November 12 episode of Saturday Night Live to promote their new and final album We Got It From Here. But now NBC has confirmed to The New York Times that Dave Chappelle will host that night.

Wow. Dave Chappelle is hosting @nbcsnl on Nov. 12, with A Tribe Called Quest as musical guest, NBC says.

It’s been so long since Chappelle has done sketch work and, depending on the outcome of the presidential election earlier that week, we may need him that night more than we ever have.
