The singer celebrates a new milestone with a new track.

Rae Sremmurd’s ‘Black Beatles’ recently hit #1 this week off the back of the viral Mannequin Challenge. To mark the occasion Nicki Minaj released her own take on the song with ‘Black Barbies’.

“Cuz 2 lil black kids got the NUMBER 1 RECORD IN THE COUNTRY & I’m soooooo happy for Mike Will,” Minaj wrote on Instagram.

Minaj has had a quiet year musically, though it appears she’s speeding up. In September, she made a welcome return to rap with ‘Pinkprint Freestyle’. Her last album was 2014’s The Pinkprint.
