Richard D. James makes a rare live appearance in London.

Aphex Twin has been confirmed to headline next year’s Field Day with a performance in The Barn, a brand new indoor stage for the London festival.

Flyers appeared around London over the weekend sparking rumours of the booking, which the festival has now detailed.

“We are so excited to confirm that we will be announcing Aphex Twin to headline Field Day’s brand new second main stage arena,” the festival stated. “The Barn will be a gigantic hanger-like construction with a state of the art high-powered sound system and one of the most technologically advanced lighting rigs around.”

Field Day takes place on June 3, 2017 in London’s Victoria Park. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, December 1 from the Field Day website.
