The New Jersey native is starting 2017 off right.
SZA has released new single ‘Drew Barrymore’ after debuting the track on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The track is inspired by Barrymore’s movies like Never Been Kissed and Poison Ivy. “I just imagine this being the soundtrack to one of those movies,” she said.

She also announced on Kimmel that the name of her follow-up to 2014’s Z would not longer be called A, but CTRL. This is, perhaps, a nod to the control she took over her career last year when she said TDE could “release [her] album if [they] ever feels like it,” as she was tired of release date delays.
CTRL does not have a release date yet, but considering the wealth of releases the label put out last year, she should be next.
