Nick Cave and Warren Ellis are in the composing seat once again – this time to score the soundtrack for new thriller Wind River starring Elizabeth Olsen.
As Film Music Reporter reports, the movie centers on an FBI agent who teams up with a game tracker to investigate a murder that occurred on the eponymous Native American reservation. Sheridan also wrote the screenplay.
Alongside Olsen, Wind River also stars Jeremy Renner and Jon Bernthal. It’s set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 21.
Cave and his longtime Bad Seeds bandmate Ellis previously scored the Sheridan-scripted Hell or High Water and provided the chilling soundtrack to Ron Howard’s Mars series on National Geographic
