The Jesus and Mary Chain will release their first album in 18 years next month and today you can hear a new song from it, the reverb-filled love song ‘Always Sad’.

The single follows ‘Amputation’ and offers a less heavy approach. Over softly distorted guitar hooks, guest vocalist Bernadette Denning duets with Jim Reid to bring an almost bubblegum pop spirit to the track.
