A two-day celebration of the series before its return.

To celebrate the upcoming return of Twin Peaks, Showtime has announced a two-day event at SXSW including a full line-up of bands, a Double R Diner pop-up shop and plenty of cherry pie to go around.

Artists including Neko Case, Real Estate, Julie Byrne, Tame Impala’s Cameron Avery and Annie Hart (of Au Revoir Simone) will perform, and Special Agent Dale Cooper himself, Kyle MacLachlan, will make a special appearance on the first night.

In addition to the pop-up shop, the event will include a Twin Peaks-inspired donut from the Austin outpost of the popular Voodoo Doughnuts, cocktails, coffee and pie. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of whether there will be brie and butter sandwiches.

The event takes place March 16 and 17 at the Showtime House at Clive Bar in Austin. Head here for the full band line-up.
