Featuring ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and more.

’90s classic Space Jam will be revived this Record Store Day. As Pitchfork points out, the soundtrack from the Michael Jordan x Looney Tunes movie will be reissued on vinyl exclusively for RSD on April 22.

The OST, which features R. Kelly, D’Angelo, Changing Faces and Jay Z, and the then-very-popular Quad City DJs, was release on vinyl alongside the movie in 1996 – many copies are still available for high prices on Discogs.

Space Jam spurred big hits, including R. Kelly’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and Monica’s ‘For You I Will’. The soundtrack’s closer ‘Buggin” by Bugs Bunny features lyrics written by Jay Z.
