The show hits Netflix on April 21.
Tyler, the Creator has been enlisted to create the theme tune for ‘The Science Guy’ Bill Nye’s new Netflix show.
Bill Nye Saves The World, which will be available to stream from April 21, follows Nye’s former show Bill Nye The Science Guy, which aired on PBS during the ’90s.
Yesterday (April 15), Nye shared a conversation between himself and Tyler, which shows the pair discussing the original theme song. Tyler remarked that “the first one is really sick,” while adding, “if you take out that snare, it could be a house song.”
When asked why he picked Tyler for the job, Nye quipped: “He’s the man. He’s got the beat.”
Earlier this month, Tyler appeared on Frank Ocean’s new single ‘Biking’, which also features Jay Z. [via Pitchfork]
Update, April 17: Here the theme – or, at least 12 seconds of it – now.
