New singles are due tomorrow.
Big Boi has announced his third solo album Boomiverse is “coming soon” in an Instagram video released today.
The album includes ‘Mic Jack’, a collaboration with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, and ‘Kill Jill’ with fellow Atlanta rappers Jeezy and Killer Mike.
‘Mic Jack’ will debut on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. EST and ‘Kill Jill’ ((which Mike teased last month) will be released tomorrow night.
Boomiverse is Big Boi’s first solo album since 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. In 2015 he collaborated with Phantogram on the release Big Grams.
Let’s hope it sounds more like this than either of those albums.
