Available in 4LP or 6LP box sets.
The fifth installment in the Persona RPG series is already one of the major video game hits of the year and now its soundtrack is headed to vinyl.
iam8bit have unveiled the LP edition of the Persona 5 soundtrack which is available in two massive box sets. A 4LP edition acts as a sort of greatest hits for the soundtrack with favorites chosen by members of developer Atlus, while a 6LP edition collects the entire 110-track score.
No artwork is available and the vinyl isn’t expected until Q4 of this year, but there’s a reason for the label’s preemptive announcement. Partnering with Sega and Atlus, iam8Bit have announced plans to document the entire development process of the box set.
Fans who purchase the soundtrack will receive monthly updates from the label documenting the mastering process, test pressing, vinyl production, packaging design and finally the artwork (which comes from a “top-secret artist”).
