The horror classic turns 35 this year.
Soundtrack reissue giant Mondo has given fans a first look at their upcoming board game for John Carpenter’s The Thing after teasing it earlier this winter.
The game is made in collaboration with Project Raygun, a branch of powerhouse tabletop game publisher USAopoly, and will be out this October.
Little is known about the game, but Mondo has previously said the game employs hidden identities for players in order to recreate the tension of the original “as players race to discover who among them are infected”.
We imagine this will be the perfect accompaniment to Waxwork’s recent vinyl reissue of the soundtrack.
