Hear a preview of Home Age now.
Eleh returns to Important Records this fall with Home Age, the elusive drone project’s first album in five years, as well as a split release with electroacoustic composer Christina Kubisch.
Home Age is Eleh’s first proper album since 2012’s Homage To The Pointed Waveforms and is described as an attempt to “expose the inherent musicality of pure electrical currents via high resolution Serge STS synthesizers.”
Just in time for Modular Day at FACT, you can get a sense of the haunted modular synth passages in a new preview mix available today.
Eleh’s Serge STS (pictured above) is also the focus of ‘Ohmage/Resistor’, a side-long track included on the split and paired with Kubisch’s Nikola Tesla-inspired ‘Tesla’s Dream.’
Listen to the mix below and look for both albums November 17 via Important.
